Beqa, Fiji is a magical place. From perfect turquoise blue waters and never-ending colors of sunrises and sunsets to the lush tropical forests and peaceful mangroves, this island captured my heart. The Fijian people are some of the happiest I have met. I loved learning about their culture and this small island. For divers, Beqa is most famous for Tiger Sharks. These massive sharks are stunning, and I had the pleasure of seeing four together on one of the shark feeding dives. The resort's focus is on sustaining the shark population by researching shark behavior and populations thru feedings. Shark feeding is controversial, and I only participate with operations that focus on shark conservation and shark protection.
